Q: What are the basic admission requirements at IICMC?

A: To apply at IICMC, you generally need completed secondary education (High School/A-Level/equivalent), proficiency in English, and in some programs a valid passport and medical fitness certification. Specific programs may have additional entry criteria.

A: Required documents typically include your completed application form, academic certificates/transcripts, identification (passport or national ID), photos, and any program-specific proofs such as medical fitness for STCW courses. Registration fee payment proof is also required.

A: You can submit your application online through the IICMC Apply Now portal, upload all necessary documents, pay the registration fee, and receive confirmation and next steps via email.

Q: What is the difference between a Crash Program and a Full Program?

A: Crash Programs are short, intensive training courses designed to deliver essential competencies in a few days, while Full Programs run for several weeks or months with deeper instruction, additional practical sessions, and broader certification outcomes.

A: Yes, many of our programs — especially STCW and maritime safety courses — are aligned with international conventions and industry standards, making them globally valued by maritime employers.

A: Not for entry-level or foundational programs. Advanced or specialized courses may recommend or require prior operational experience, depending on the program.

Q: How much do programs cost?

A: Program costs vary by course and duration. Crash Programs typically range from short-term fees (e.g., around USD 150–275), while full programs range from several hundred to over a thousand USD depending on length and level. Detailed fees are listed on the Tuition & Fees page.

A: All fees are generally due before the start of training. Payment instructions are provided during the application process, and options for group or corporate billing may be available on request.

A: Yes — upon successful completion of coursework and assessments, you will receive a certificate for the specific program. STCW-aligned courses issue certificates that meet international minimum standards for maritime service.

A: Some theoretical modules or preparatory materials may be delivered online, but most maritime and STCW courses require on-campus instruction with practical demonstration components.
